Hartlief is recruiting a Land and Buildings Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To be responsible for maintaining all building fixtures at Hartlief Factory, Shop & Bistro and Mariental Abattoir. To make sure that processes and procedures of maintenance department are adhere to
Duties
- Monitor the work of contractors as per Service Level agreement
- Coordinate and administer plan and unplanned maintenance on lands and buildings
- Compile daily and weekly checklist report on all lands and buildings (Hartlief Factory, Shop & Bistro and Mariental Abattoir)
- Execute a plan for the apprentices and assistant on the job coaching and training
- Ensure that invoices are received and delivered on time to the Technical Maintenance Manager
- Supervise and plan daily, weekly cleaning schedules and maintain good hygiene in line with HACCP requirements
- Identify short comings of subordinates and submit training plan to Technical Maintenance Manager
- Conduct benchmark of maintenance KPI’s and work practices against other plans in the group
- Provide correct safety procedures during maintenance and good manufacturing practices
- Schedule general building services, complete and file documents correctly and adhere to audit findings reports
Requisites
- A Trade Certificate in Plumber, Refrigeration or bricklaying
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Building Maintenance
- A valid driver’s code B license (MUST)
