Learning and Development Officer (m/f)


Sanlam is recruiting a Learning and Development Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
  • The purpose of this position is to effectively present training courses and monitoring training results for the business stakeholders and to identify future training that may be modified where necessary. Recommends new training techniques and programmes and responsible for developing training to meet identified needs within the organization
  • Ensure effective training to all stakeholders are executed and that all staff are equip with all the necessary knowledge
  • Ensure compliance of FIA regulations are adhered to with business stakeholders and all clients
  • Quality assessment on all staff's work processes
  • Provide feedback to supervisors monthly after evaluations of training are done
  • Knowledge of Sanlam Namibia products and services
  • Identify training needs to all stakeholders
  • Conduct weekly and monthly training sessions internally and at branch level
  • Co-ordinate to get process specifications (SOP's) in order for all Client Service processes to be kept updated
  • Incorporate compliance requirements into training processes
  • Continuous streamlining of business processes through training provided
  • Grade 12
  • Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field of study
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a client service or learning/development environment
  • Experience in the life insurance industry will be an added advantage
