Description
- The Learning and Growth Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting all Learning and Development (L&D) activities, including effective employee onboarding, skill development, and ensuring compliance with training levy requirements
- The role oversees the administration of the Young Professional Program, contributing to the growth and development of early-career talent

Duties
- Plan, update and implement training plan and schedules in line with the Learning and Development strategy
- Organize logistics for all training sessions, including venues, materials, and facilitators
- Provide support in verifying the credibility of service providers by conducting due diligence checks
- Coordinate and compile individual development plans
- Facilitate the onboarding of new employees by coordinating induction sessions and materials
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the induction process, gathering feedback for improvements
- Administer the Vocational Education and Training (VET) levy process, ensuring timely submissions
- Verify training programs and courses eligible for VET levy refunds, ensuring compliance with legislation
- Maintain accurate records of all learning activities, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Prepare monthly reports on training interventions
- Administer the Young Professional Program, coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, and development of young professionals
- Coordinate mentorship and coaching sessions to support young professionals’ career development
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources, Education, or a related field from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution
- A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in learning and development or a similar role
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Good customer orientation or focus
- Well-developed interpersonal sensitivity and teamwork
- Excellent planning and organizing skills with an attention to detail
