Bank Windhoek is recruiting a Liaison Officer: Estates, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
  • Responsible for building and maintaining effective business relationships with relevant stakeholders. To attend to general administration functions of the office
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships with relevant stakeholders as a representative of the department
  • Delivering and collecting required documentation from relevant stakeholders
  • Office Administration:
  • Attend to the monthly reconciliation of the office account, Petty Cash Account and Fuel Account
  • Ordering of departments stationery
  • Attend to the Attendance register of the department
  • Recording of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Arranging office meetings and taking minutes of meetings
  • Log calls with IT
  • Assist Management with general office duties
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure that the relevant stakeholders are handled in a professional manner and provided with accurate information regarding the Bank’s requirements related to Trust and Estates
  • Ensure that clients/interested parties are handled in a professional manner, provided with accurate information regards the Bank’s products and services
  • Sales Focus:
  • Responsible for identifying selling/cross-selling opportunities related to estates and refer such opportunities and leads to the correct person, department or branch involved
Requisites
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Diploma in Deceased Estates or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
  • BE Code Driving License
  • Experience/Knowledge & Skills
  • 3 Years’ experience in the administration of estates
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to trust and estates
  • Computer literate: (MS Word & Excel)
  • Analytical skills
  • Product knowledge
  • Accounting experience will be an advantage
