Namibia Dairies recruiting a Logistics Support Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To review systems performance and processes relevancy within the logistics operations by reporting, monitoring, carrying out budget analysis (current vs budget) as well as analyzing existing processes, to drive and optimize continuous improvements and enhance operational efficiencies
Duties
- Build and implement annual Logistics budget model based on parameters agreed with Finance
- Monitor performance against budget on an ongoing basis and submit suggestions on how to improve performance/efficiencies
- Carry out periodical audits to verify that operations comply with documented processes
- Periodically report on key activities within operations and investigate and implement process improvements to enhance performance and efficiencies
- Conduct regular surveys with regards to best practices in the logistics industry with the view of staying abreast of latest developments that may benefit operations
- Monitor returns functions
- Analyses costs and reports on cost management performance to Logistics Manager
- Financial management of department in line with ND procedures and policies
- Pro-actively forecast, prepare, implement, and manage Logistics Budgets in line with ND strategy
- SAP system development and support
- Roadshow, DRM & Webfleet management
- Distribution Monitoring Activities
- Inventory Monitoring
- Warehouse Monitoring Activities
- General Logistics Support
Requisites
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience
- Preferred/advantageous:
- SAP ERP & Fleet control systems
- Logistics experience in an FMCG industry
