O&L Leisure is recruiting a Manager: Marketing, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To lead, oversee, develop, maintain, and direct the execution of the Marketing, Retail and Brand strategy
  • Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the quality of marketing, market research and project development for the entire Leisure portfolio across all channels
  • To position O&L Leisure as the leading consumer driven hospitality company in Namibia

  • Theming and Aligning Marketing touchpoints to the Persona and Brand promise
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Leadership and People Management
  • Financial Management and Reporting
Requisites
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 8 years’ marketing (including digital) experience of which at least 5 years’ must be in a managerial position
  • Preferred Advantageous:
  • Extensive experience in Tourism and Destination Marketing in the relevant source markets and a very good understanding of the Tourist demand and travel behaviour spread through all relevant market segments
  • High-level expertise and detailed understanding of retail, brand & marketing-related aspects of the Hotel and leisure industries with a strong grounding in digital marketing
  • Additional qualifications in PR, Events Management, and web design will be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge and experience using marketing principles, consumer behaviour, brand management, and digital marketing strategies
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
