Description
- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Merchandising Team Leader, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager
- The primary role of the Merchandising Team Leader is to ensure implementation of Picture of Success - coolers & shelves fully stocked at all times. Identify and execute across merchandising opportunities
Duties
- Management of Merchandiser performance
- Manage merchandiser timekeeping and attendance
- Scheduling of merchandiser roster
- Maintain customer service aspects
- Monitor trade returns
- Manage merchandiser staff compliment
- Comply with outlet execution standards
- Manage and plan daily routes
- Maintain market standards as per picture of success
- Train merchandisers in proper merchandising standards
- Provide feedback to sales staff on any issues and opportunities in-store
- Manage product age through effective stock rotation
- Build promotional displays and retail theatre displays with space negotiated by salesman
- Execute all planned promotions
- Manage in store image and subsequent disposal of all advertising and brand material

- An understanding of evolving business needs and how systems can be adapted to meet these needs and add value
Requisites
- Grade 12 (3 year marketing degree will be a definite advantage)
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in the Fast-Moving-Consumer-Goods Environment
- Written & oral ability of Afrikaans and English Proficiency in an indigenous language will be a definite advantage
- Excellent planning, organizing, communication, management and judgment skills Namibian Citizenship
- Code 08 driver’s license
- PDP license
