Sanlam is recruiting a New Business Systems Specialist (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • The purpose of this position is to identify and address any system related issues and errors and be the co-ordinator of reporting, testing and signing off. The person must be able to effectively co-ordinate implementation of enhancements on products and processes and get responsible staff involved to assist where necessary. The person must assist Affluent Sales and New Business with all system related issues and errors
Duties
  • Assist Sales and New Business with system related errors and queries and co-ordinate that it is solved on time and effectively
  • Clear PDD baskets daily
  • Finalize enquiries correctly and ensure that information given to client is technically correct
  • Keeping within SLA's to render good service to our Sales and New Business
  • Professional and complete feedback communication per e-mail or telephonically
  • Training in Quotation and Application capturing and New Business process to Sales as required
  • Test and implement the rules of all compliance- FIA regulation in the New Business process
  • Assist colleagues with system related errors and queries and co-ordinate that it is solved on time and effectively
  • Actively involved in feedback for reporting purposes and progress on testing and errors where necessary
  • Assist to inform colleagues on system implementation and help communicating knowledge and impact of changes
  • Manage logging of ACE tasks and co-ordinate closing/testing/feedback when required
  • Co-ordinate testing of processes where necessary
  • Complete testing of ACE tasks and New Business process testing before releases and new products
  • Identify training needs of Sales & New Business staff and report to management and trainer
  • Changes request on TE to ensure that it will be implemented
Requisites
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a client service environment
  • Experience in the financial services industry will be an added advantage
