The Namibian Competition Commission is recruiting an Officer: Administration & Procurement, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To coordinate, execute and perform all procurement and administrative support functions for the Commission which includes cleaning services, transport services, security services
- This position reports to the Manager Finance
- This is a specialist position, and the incumbent is expected inter alia to:
Duties
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Procurement, Supply Chain or related qualification at NQF level 7
- 5 years of work experience in procurement and administration environment, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience and an understanding of general administration
- A Code BE driver’s license (Compulsory)
- Sound understanding of the Procurement Act, and public procurement regulations
- Administrative aptitude and analytical thinking, diligent and conscientious
- Time Management skills
- Disciplined, friendly and hardworking, integrity, confidentiality, impartiality, confidence, and service orientation (support function)
