Agra is recruiting an Officer: Centre Management & Maintenance, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbent will be based at Auas Valley Shopping Mall
Duties
- Ensure the efficient execution of delegated tasks with respect to the operations of Auas Valley Shopping Mall and other properties in Windhoek, where applicable
- Ensure that the following key areas are adhered too:
- Maintenance (routine and emergency)
- Centre cleanliness
- Centre security
- Centre parking
- Ensure that all buildings, grounds and equipment are well maintained and in optimal working condition
- Tenant liaison and relationship building
- Liaison with service providers to ensure they meet their contractual and other obligations
- Liaison with shoppers (if and when required)
- Ensures correct procedures are followed when dealing with exiting and incoming tenants
- Provides regular feedback to management on Centre operations
- Supervise promotional activities and exhibitions in the Centre
- Promote the Centre to potential exhibitors to generate additional income
- Approve maintenance work done and sign off invoices for payment
- Record all municipal and other meter readings monthly
- Ensures that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
Requisites
- Qualifications & Attributes:
- Namibian citizenship
- A Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum 5 years experience in the building and/or property industry
- Additional experience in property management and maintenance will serve as a distinct advantage
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Package)
- Proficiency in English (written & spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional conflict handling skills
- Must have a passion for the brand and customer
- Valid Code B driver’s license
