Bokomo is recruiting an Operator: Industrial Truck & Tractor, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Reporting to the Assistant Manager: Warehouse the position will be responsible to move bulk material, containers, crates, palletized goods, cartons and bales in the Warehouse environment in order to receive and dispatch good in the most effective and safest possible manner to the satisfaction of the Company and clients
- (6 Months Contract)
Duties
- Loading and off-loading of trucks
- Organization of Warehouse
- Maintain forklift checks on a daily basis i.e. brakes, oil level, lights etc
- Assist with the housekeeping of the Warehouse
- Assist with any fork-lift / tractor duties which may arise from time to time
- Always apply safety procedures and regulations
- Adherence to Company policies and Operating procedures
- Moving of stock from the production areas to the storage locations
- Execute any other duties to which the tractor might be assigned
- Maintain tractor and keep it clean and tidy
- Assist with general housekeeping in the areas where stock is on and off-loaded
- Assist with stock rotation as per FIFO process
Requisites
- The ideal candidate will have Grade 12
- Valid forklift & tractor driver`s licence
- Good communication skills
- Be prepared to work night shift and on Saturdays as and when required
