Nedbank is recruiting a Personal Assistant/Secretary, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To provide operational support to the Executive and Management by planning, coordinating and managing administrative business activities in order to assist management to fulfil its mandate for Nedbank
  • Reporting to – Chief Operating Officer & Chief Risk Officer
Duties
  • Manage the Executives calendars and set up meetings
  • Plan and Optimize time and resource allocation through effective diary management
  • Build trust by maintaining integrity and open communication
  • Compile multiple monthly committee meeting packs
  • Take minutes of committee meetings and distribute
  • Proactively compile action items list out of meetings and management
  • Manage communication between internal and external stakeholders and ensure documentation and correspondence meets professional and compliance standard
  • Plan and co-ordinate internal and external stakeholders' interactions through effective meeting co-ordination and events planning
  • Ensure travel arrangements are planned, executed and booked timeously within company policy
  • Ensure all calls are answered timeously in a professional & friendly manner and are appropriately routed and screened
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times by adhering to the Nedbank's values
  • Manage records by capturing, screening and storing correspondence data and responses
  • Assist the department in minimizing risks by complying with the relevant policies, procedures and standards within your area of responsibility
  • Assist with general office administration
Requisites
  • Operational Knowledge of MS Office Programmes
  • Initiating Action
  • Strong communication (Verbal & Written) and Interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding Organisational planning and time managements skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
  • Matric/Grade 12/National Senior Certificate
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • Preferably a Secretarial Certificate/Diploma
  • Minimum Experience Level
  • Must have 5 Years experience as Senior Personal Assistant
  • Must have 3 years Secretarial experience
  • Must have completed Grade 12 (25 points)
