Nedbank is recruiting a Personal Banker, to be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Description
  • To create a unique client experience by attending to clients' sales and service needs, fulfill client banking requirements, selling Nedbank sales products and by identifying cross sell opportunities whilst mitigating risk and contributing to branch objectives
Duties
  • Customer service driven
  • Extensive and sound experience in all aspects of sales and banking
  • Must have the ability to think critically and work well work independently and as part of a team. must be a self-starter, with excellent people skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and a flexible approach
  • A sound credit background linked with superior interpersonal and marketing skills
  • Knowledge and experience of financial statements and the analysis thereof
  • Excellent knowledge of bank’s products and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication
  • Acquisition of new customers to the Bank within the consumer banking division
  • Marketing of the Bank’s products and services to existing as well as prospective clients
  • Deliver world class benchmarked customer service
  • Compilation and maintenance of action plans to increase banking sales
  • Meeting Exceed monthly set targets
  • Ad hoc duties
Requisites
  • Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Minimum Experience Level:
  • Must have completed a Grade 12 (25 points), an original certified copy and/Diploma in business/ banking related studies.
  • Minimum of 5 (Five) years retail sales experience in a banking environment of which at least 2 (Two) years as a Sales Support (Sales or customer service experience is a plus)
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • Preferably a Diploma in business/ banking related studies
