Old Mutual is recruiting a PFA General Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Responsible for the formulation of the Personal Finance Advisor strategy, interpret and translate, priorities and strategies into the Namibia strategy
- Manages performance, monitors and utilizes resources to ensure sales and productivity within the channel
- Ensures that business risks are minimized
- Maintaining an in depth understanding of markets, economic and political opportunities in all regions and deals with environmental threats
- Manages profitability and delivery of new business in Namibia
- Manages all stakeholders in the Retail Affluent market segment
- Builds strong relationships, networking focus, manage external relationships and build relationships with clients
- Manage different value propositions for different stakeholders and markets at all levels;
Focuses on rebuilding and growing the business
- Builds a high-performance ethic in the channel
- Manages resources such as markets and technology and utilizes all resources including support processes to ensure that targets are met
- Ensures financial industry regulations are adhered to
Requisites
- Namibian Citizen
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- 5 - 10 years management experience in the Financial Services industry
- Product/technical knowledge will be an advantage
- Computer literacy
