Coca Cola Beverages Africa is recruiting a Plant Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Plant Manager Namibia, reporting to the General Manager
  • The role of the Plant Manager Namibia is to manage, lead and support the team so that manufacturing, quality and maintenance targets are achieved in the most cost effective and efficient manner
  • To ensure quality products are efficiently produced per plan with optimal utilization of assets and human resources
  • Direct accountability for the Windhoek and Oshakati Plant e.g. oversee production, quality and safety of both Plants
Duties
  • Develop plant business and implementation plans to ensure that customer service and productivity objectives of the Region and CCBA are met
  • Ensure productivity and budgeting objectives are met
  • Ensure customer service objectives are met
  • Work closely with Logistics to ensure systematic and strategic coordination of all Supply Chain business functions in order to ensure the continuous improvement of long term performance, of both the supply chain and the value chain as a whole
  • Manage the Manufacturing aspects of operational execution including flow of materials, production and all supporting operations
  • Management and maintenance of the Manufacturing assets at a productive basic condition
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Country Management team
  • Lead the Risk Management and Business Governance processes within the Windhoek & Oshakati plants
  • Maintained KORE System i.t.o. Safety, Food safety, Quality, Health & Environment, Source water protection plan, Source vulnerability assessment
  • Direct accountability for the Windhoek and Oshakati Plant e.g. oversee production, quality and safety of both Plants
Requisites
  • A 4-year tertiary qualification in Food Science & Technology or Engineering degree
  • With extensive technical skills
  • Approximately 10 years of relevant corporate experience
  • At least 8 years at a senior / executive level
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Ways, Capex budget compilation and execution
  • Strong technical people development skills
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, execution and coordination of people and resources.;Written & oral ability of English (Proficiency in an indigenous language will be an added advantage)
  • Code BE driver’s license
