Namdeb is recruiting a Pre-Primary Curriculum Co-Ordinator/Teacher, to be based in Oranjemund, Namibia.
Description
- The Oranjemund Pre-Primary School has a vacancy for a qualified and experienced curriculum co-ordinator/teacher
- The successful applicant will be required to lead a team of teachers whilst being responsible to teach as a full-time class teacher
Duties
- Proficiency and fluency in English is essential
- Strong communication skills including ability to speak in public
- Excellent organizational administrative skills
- Strong working knowledge of drawing up yearly programmes and work schedules
- Ability to write and proof read reports
- Excellent Leadership and Coaching skills
- Strong EQ, High level of Integrity and Decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflict
- Ability to Network (collaborative skills)
- Ability to adapt to change
- Computer literate with the ability to incorporate technology into their teaching style/classroom
Requisites
- Four (4) years Teaching Diploma/Degree in Foundation Phase specializing in pre-primary education
- Five (5) years teaching experience, in pre-primary and/or Grade 0 of which at least three (3) years should be at managerial level
- Knowledge/Experience in all aspects of school readiness will be an added advantaged
- Knowledge on Motorics, Brain Gym, Letter land and Numeracy programmes will be an added advantage
