DBN is recruiting a Professional Programme, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) invites ambitious and high-performing graduates to apply for its Young Professional Programme (YPP)
  • This transformative twoyear programme aims to accelerate the transition from university into a rewarding career in development finance
  • In alignment with DBN’s mandate to promote national development and socioeconomic wellbeing, the YPP is designed to cultivate future industry specialists by offering participants comprehensive exposure to the Bank’s key operational areas and future skills needs
Duties

Requisites
  • Be a Namibian citizen
  • Be a graduate with less than one year of working experience
  • Have a proven track record of outstanding academic performance from an accredited tertiary institution, with a minimum aggregate score of 65% in the final year
  • Hold a degree aligned with the following fields of studies: SME Finance, Risk & Compliance, Research & Product Development, Legal, Lending & Client Relations (Portfolio Management),IT (Digital Transformation), Financial Modelling and General Investments
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, leadership potential, and a passion for excellence
  • Not be bound by any contractual obligations to other institutions
  • Applicants with foreign qualifications must ensure their qualifications are evaluated by NQA
Notes
  • The DBN offers market related remuneration packages commensurate with experience and qualifications
