Description
  • This Quality Assessor will play a vital role in ensuring that all customers in Namibia receive prompt resolution to any quality related issues and assessment. This role is critical to improving quality controls and synchronized quality processes that supports better decision making in real-time to positively impact our CX. It is a critical part of CX journey and ensuring a fulfillment of all customer orders
Duties
  • As a Technologist, you will be working closely with the @Home Product Teams, using your extensive technical knowledge to provide support and input to ensure product meets the business’s technical and quality specifications and standards
  • You will support the end-to-end technical and quality aspects of product from supplier into distribution centre receiving, dispatch, stores and returns
  • Provide on-going development and creation of technical policies, protocols, performance standards, and other company standards as applicable
  • Develop supplier relations and coach to ensure technical consistency across supply base
  • Support the sample technical approvement process and complete business documentation
  • Data recording, analyzing and identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement with management reporting and presenting
  • Support and guide logistics and store staff on handling and packaging of product to minimize damages
  • Work closely with various process owners in logistics, stores and business to achieve common goals
  • Sign off on jobber batches and manage sales with logistics and finance department
  • Finance tracking of expenses linked to budget planned
  • Manage, guide and train logistics and store staff with product knowledge and assembly, technical standards, product care and handling knowledge to minimize product write off (core product and newness)
  • Procure materials and ensure supplier spares are provided to logistics and store staff to minimize write off
  • Do repairs and manage, support and train the repair staff to achieve KPI’s. Manage 3rd party repairs
  • Perform furniture customer assessments with a positive outcome and support other regions assessments with technical knowledge
  • Delight customers with quick resolutions and a professional approach
  • Maintain a professional relationship with internal and external business partners
  • Be flexible to do other warehouse and distribution activities
