Regional Security Officers

Duties

• Managing the issuance of the ID card
• Provide the safety and security training to the field staff
• Conduct investigation on a security related incident and accident
• Report complains and other matter to the police on behalf of the field staff
• Handling complains from the field staff relating to the security issues and provide solution
• Provide a daily report to the Senior Security Officer
• Working closely with fleet and logistic teams.

Requisites

• Grade 12 plus Basic Security Certificate or equivalent
• Specific competence: Basic Investigation skills, Communication skills

• Secondary school qualifications:
• New Grade 11, Grade 12 or equivalent
• Proof of residence in constituency (NB: any of the following):

• OR
• Voter’s card (with constituency specified)
• OR
• Municipal bill not older then 2 months (with a certified copy of ID and a verification letter from the person listed on the municipal bill)

• These are temporary positions and people who are currently employed & full time learners/students will not be considered. Successful candidates will be required to provide a police clearance certificate, tax certificate and bank confirmation letter.
