Regulatory Analyst: Conduct & Compliance (m/f)

Description

• The purpose of this position is to receive and process all new applications from regulated entities, monitor compliance, conduct on-site and off-site inspections and to accurately capture data received from regulated entities

Duties

• Receive, evaluate and assess new applications from regulated entities and make recommendations to the Senior Financial Analyst
• Enforce compliance by validating legislative requirements as per procedure manual
• Confirm corrective actions/measures with Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst, and communicate same to regulated entity
• Ensure timely dissemination, recording and safekeeping of documents and data
• Assist with logistical and administrative arrangements related to on-site and off-site inspections
• Attend to walk-in clients, telephonic and written enquiries, and maintain close stakeholder relationships

Requisites

• National Diploma in Business Administration/Administration /Accounting/Economics/Finance
• One (1) year administration experience

• Relevant legislation
• Industry business knowledge and understanding

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills
• Report writing skills
