Old Mutual is recruiting a Relationship Consultant: GAP, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Assist the GAP Specialist in managing the GAP client portfolio
- Prepare agenda packs, presentations and minutes for GAP meetings with clients/intermediaries and other key stakeholder’s meetings
- Preparing of GAP Quotations, Annual Rate Reviews and Medicals
- Assist the GAP Specialist in maintaining a fruitful relationship with intermediaries
- Manage and conduct GAP product training with intermediaries
- Manage and conduct meetings with key stakeholders
- Manage collection and submission of GAP monthly reports and data
- Schedule appointments for the GAP Specialist
- Assist the GAP Specialist in resolving client queries
- Provide quality service and client care
- Explore opportunities to grow our client base
- Execute all procedures to ensure immediate operational excellence in response to requirements and production standards
Requisites
- Namibian citizen
- A minimum qualification of Grade 12 with a minimum of 25 points
- A relevant business, commerce or legal qualification
- Approximately 2 to 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry would be an advantage
- A sound knowledge of and experience in the retirement fund and/or the insurance industry would be an advantage
- Experience in providing administrative services
- An assertive self-starter
- Excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills
- Ability to liaise effectively and build a good rapport with colleagues and clients
- Strong computer skills with excellent typing speed
- Detail-oriented, punctual, sincere, and high work ethics
- Excellent conflict handling skills
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Fluent in English, any other indigenous language would be an advantage
