Enersence is recruiting a Renewable Energy Analyst Intern (6 Months) - (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • Enersense Energy Namibia (Pty) Ltd is a local Namibian energy company that has a focus on renewable energy projects. These projects include but are not limited to wind energy projects, solar energy projects, green hydrogen projects and green ammonia projects. The company was created with the objective of developing green energy projects
  • Enersense Namibia has commenced initial studies on the development of a pilot green ammonia production facility with the intention to scale up production to commercial levels over the course of the next few years
  • As such Enersense Namibia intends to employ Renewable Energy Analysts to join our team based in Windhoek for a 6 (six) month internship. The internship will be paid
Duties
  • Develop and prepare project financials and business cases
  • Conduct research, maintain, and create appropriate databases
  • Perform systems analysis and document results
  • Create and maintain appropriate models
  • Present presentations
  • Perform directed assignments
Requisites
  • Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or finance. Qualifications relating to renewable energy will be favored
  • Interest in renewable energy, green hydrogen and green ammonia
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Problem solving and takes initiative
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
