Bank Windhoek is recruiting a Revenue Assurance Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • Responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient execution of the Revenue Assurance function. To ensure that all products and services provided by Bank Windhoek to customers are correctly billed as per agreement with and as communicated to the regulator, and by ensuring integrity and accuracy across banking platforms and systems
Duties
  • Monitoring data for signs of revenue leakage and ensuring the prompt recovery of such losses through:
  • Detection:
  • Detect revenue leakages and revenue leakage areas, monitor data, and investigate all revenue streams for anomalies
  • Correction and Prevention:
  • Modify business activities to prevent revenue leakage in the process and automate charging of fees and charges methods to reduce instances of manual charges
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting:
  • Assist with the consolidation and preparation of annual budgets, revised estimates and rolling financial forecasts, and assists with measuring and monitoring of actual against budget to assess progress
  • Special Projects:
  • Prepare analysis and recommendations to influence pricing structures to improve revenue streams and assist with the preparation and interpretation of viability studies
  • Personnel Management:
  • Manage team to ensure that work standards and quality of work output targets are achieved and establish clear and consistent work measures for the team
Requisites
  • Certified qualification in either Chartered Accounting, Certified Information
  • Systems Audit, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Management Accountant
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience in relevant field
  • A background in data analysis, reconciliation, and representation will be an added advantage
  • A minimum requirement of a relevant post-graduate degree
  • Chartered Accountant qualification will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a Corporate & Investment Banking environment with a solid financial background
  • Competency Profile:
  • Advanced computer software skills in Excel and Word
  • Ability to perform well and meet deadlines, and deliver high quality of work
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent strategic and analytical skills
  • Must have an aptitude for detail and critical analysis
  • Operates with a sense of urgency, works well in an entrepreneurial culture, and performs under stress
