FNB Namibia is recruiting a Reward Lead, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To contribute to, implement, and manage the organisation’s reward and remuneration strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent
- Ensure that reward practices align with business objectives, comply with relevant legislation, and support the organisation's employee value proposition
- Collaborate closely with leadership, Human Capital (HC) teams, and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, competitive, and equitable reward solutions
- Place strong emphasis on strategic planning, analytics, and fostering a high-performance culture through effective reward frameworks
Duties
- Conduct market research to inform reward strategies, aligning them with organisational goals for competitiveness and talent retention
- Advise leadership on reward trends and best practices to attract and retain top talent
- Integrate total rewards policies across the employee lifecycle, including international jurisdiction
- Design and review equitable, market-aligned remuneration structures that drive performance
- Perform reward audits and present proposals based on market and financial data
- Manage incentive and bonus programs to reinforce a results-driven culture
- Work with HC and Finance teams to align reward systems with broader organisational strategies
- Ensure compliance with tax, labour laws, internal policies, and industry regulations
- Develop communication plans to ensure transparency around compensation and benefits
- Analyse reward data for insights to enhance strategy
- Collaborate on salary surveys and benchmarking to access reliable market data
- Oversee reward governance to ensure ethical, consistent decisions
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all reward practices
Requisites
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
CCP or similar certification is an asset
- 8–10+ years in compensation and benefits, including 3–5 in middle management
- High integrity and discretion
- Strong data analysis skills for benchmarking, salary reviews, and budgeting
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws, tax, and regulatory compliance
