Gondwana Collection is recruiting a Senior Consultant (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Requisites
- Additional education and experience:
- 3 to 5 years Working knowledge of TourPlan and INNKEEPER booking/operating system
- WETU Proficiency
- General product knowledge on Southern Africa and travel experience (Namibia/Botswana /Zimbabwe/Zambia/RSA)
- Knowledge of self-drives, guided tours, scheduled tours as well as tour series
- Group and FIT bookings (full-service itinerary planning)
- Be able to attend and deal with local and foreign operators/agents within strict deadlines
- Excellent administrative skills, communication skills - both written and oral
- You are required to have extensive experience in the field of customer service
- The skill set required: communication, problem solving, telephone, etiquette, enthusiasm, and multitasking
- Ability to process and follow up on payments as well as customer receipts
- 5-7 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry
- Experience in handling customer relationship and developing and promoting product and services in the travel industry
- Degree in Travel & Tourism Management or Marketing
- Proven German or French & English literacy – written and oral
- Tour planning, FIT, Guided trips training
- Computer literacy of Microsoft Office and its applications
- Driver’s License
