Senior Maintenance Engineer

Duties

• QKR Namibia Navachab Gold Mine, situated in Karibib Namibia, seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Maintenance System Administrator
• The position reports to the Senior Maintenance Engineer
• Key Accountabilities:
• With the relevant input of others, continuously review, update, and implement maintenance strategies on the HME/Plant/Asset maintenance system
• Maintain and improve and ensure SAP business system integration operating procedures related to HME/Plant/Asset maintenance system and enhance workflow processes on a constant basis
• Develop, maintain and improve trend analyses and reports of maintenance activities
• Set up (as appropriate) and engage in communities of practice (Engineering/Planning Operational forums or meetings) to define and ensure compliance With Company I site-specific requirements
• Ascertain the technical library is fit for purpose and capture as relevant the maintenance system

Requisites

• Grade 12
• A relevant ternary qualification
• A minimum of five (5) years' relevant post-trade experience, of which 2 year must have been at the supervisory level, preferably in mining or a similar industry
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a physical-asset management or construction environment (Planning, scheduling, and or system administration) for mining process plants and heavy mining equipment Computer literacy (Microsoft Qffice)
• Proven experience and knowledge in the use of project scheduling software (MS Project) and computerized maintenance management­ and business systems (SAP PM, PS and MM Modules)
• Experience with business improvement/analysis tools and practices is preferred
• Valid B driver's license
