Senior Security Officer (m/f)

Duties

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and Plant
• Monitoring surveillance equipment
• Inspect Plant, seals, equipment, and access points
• Reporting of alarms to Standby Security Staff
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, and informing violators of policy and procedures
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Report safety issues and maintain safety register on shift

Requisites

• Minimum Grade 12
• Minimum 5 years continuous working experience of which 2 years in a senior position
• Previous experience in the mining sector will be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent English literacy
• Valid Code BE License
• Valid First Aid/BLS Emergency Certificate Essential
• SHE knowledge essential
