Nedbank is recruiting a Service Consultant - Business Banking, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To provide administrative services to clients by attending to transactional, lending and investment needs to achieve Nedbank's strategic focus to become a client-centric bank
Duties
  • Support the Relationship Manager in maintaining and growing an existing Business Banking client portfolio
  • Marketing bank’s products and services to existing as well as prospective clients
  • Effective management of credit risk
  • Assist the RM in Meeting agreed upon sales targets
  • Providing superior client services and enhancing the bank’s relationship banking concept
  • Providing operational support to the Relationship Manager including assistance with risk management of client portfolios
  • Attending to all routine and administration matters relevant to a portfolio of clients
  • Ensure that clients are kept up to date with bank related changes influencing them
  • Understand and is able to market business banking product as well as identify cross-sell opportunities and prompt the Relationship Manager to pursue through effective updating and monitoring of client portfolio
Requisites
  • Key Competencies:
  • Sound experience in all aspects of sales and banking
  • Good administration and marketing skills
  • Must be self-confident and have good interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to work under pressure, team oriented and a flexible approach
  • Customer service driven
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • Grade 12 (25 points) original certified, a Diploma in business/ banking related studies
  • A degree will be an advantage
  • Minimum Experience Level:
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years in a client relationship role in a banking industry
  • Completed basic credit courses
  • Sound computer and administration skills as well as excellent knowledge of the banks products systems
  • Namibian citizenship
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Code of Conduct
