Hartlief is recruiting a Stock & Process Supervisor (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To plan, supervise and control all stock transactions on SAP and Abaserve systems to ensure that stock on system is similar to stock in the factory. Additionally, to provide administrative support to the factory departments relating to production processes to ensure accurate supply/availability of production requirements
Duties
  • Create reservations daily on the system and adhere to deadlines
  • Ensure proper control of ingredients/consumables on the system
  • Manage stock requirements for production to minimize raw and packaging materials
  • Ensure orders are closed-off on the system daily and assisting Management Accountant with the analysis of production variances
  • Verify that stock transfers, stock in transit, stock transfer orders are reviewed, cleared, and investigated in case of discrepancies and ensure corrective measures are performed
  • Supervising the Process Controllers in weekly and monthly stock taking and the resolving of variances
  • Supervise the Process Controllers with recounts and double checking were variances have been identified
  • Report all irregularities regarding stock levels to relevant parties
  • Ensure Process Controller captures stock take for MRP (Material Requirements Plan) on system weekly and coordinate the stock recon process
  • Report any excessive stock losses to the Manager Factory and propose ways to improve stock controls and minimize stock losses
  • Ensure that housekeeping is of the required standard
  • Monitor that stock requirements for the production process are sufficient and liaise with Managers
  • Receive and file all production records daily and ensure all documents are filed
  • Verify that all records are fully completed and signed off by the relevant parties before filing
  • Ensure adherence with the stock management process and standards for the Hartlief factory
  • Ensure system processes are carried out before stock take and take accuracy of Hartlief stock on system
  • Report on stock losses and production scrapping to monitor set targets
  • Lead, coach and discipline reporting team
Requisites
  • Grade 12 with 3-5 years’ Stock Management experience or a Diploma in Business Administration or Operations Management with 2-3 years in a similar position
  • Experience in FMCG industry working with food will be an added advantage
