STS Mechanician

Duties

• The incumbent is responsible to perform within the Security Technical Services workshop and provide maintenance, installation, commission and repair of electronic security equipment, in accordance with the security plan in order to protect the company’s assets and resources

Requisites

• Grade 10 with Maths, Science and “E” in English
• NQF Level 3/N2 (4x technical subjects)
• NQF Level 3 Trade Certificate, preferably in the Electrical Trade
• The above Qualifications should be NTA accredited
• Code 08 Driver’s license
• Two years’ experience as a qualified Mechanician in an Industrial and electrical environment
• Knowledge of IP-networks, CCTV systems, UPS and Solar power systems, Electronics, Telecommunications and/or, Surveillance environment will be an added advantage for this role
