- Osino Resources is a Canadian-listed gold exploration and development company focused on progressing our exciting Twin Hills Gold Project to mine construction
- Twin Hills is located near Karibib in central Namibia and is in the project financing stage
- Initial site works are expected to commence late in 2023 and full construction in 2024
- To help shape and lead the Twin Hills Gold Project construction, Osino is offering the following unique opportunities to suitably qualified industry experts
Duties
- The Sustainability Manager will assume a key leadership role in driving and embedding the Company’s sustainability strategy into industry leading best practice
- Reporting to the Country Manager, the incumbent will be a cross-functional specialist in shaping programmes, designing interventions, and driving innovation to meet and exceed Osino’s strategic sustainability goals and aspirations
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience and track record in Sustainability ideally in the mining industry
- Expertise in applicable legislation and regulatory reporting requirements, as well as internationally recognised ESG standards and frameworks, such as the UN SDG’s, ICMM, GRI, Best Practice Guide for Mining in Namibia and implementing ISO
- Manage all environmental, social, health, safety, community and development activities with relevant partners
- Formulate and implement land management strategies
- Experience in growing and successfully managing CSI programmes
