FNB Namibia is recruiting a Third Party Operational Risk Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To deal with the treatment of Third-Party risks through the efficient and effective application of Third-Party risk and Third-Party risk expertise, track and monitor which third-party organisations the group works with, and this includes suppliers, manufacturers, service providers, business partners, affiliates, distributors, resellers, and agents
- To perform critical activities to prevent significant reputational, financial, or other loss to the FirstRand Group and its clients which include taking full accountability for the Third-Party Risk Awareness and Digital Enablement capability and implementation across the Group, works with the operational risk leadership in group and segments on the development, provisioning and successful execution of Third-Party Risk Awareness and Digital Enablement across the Group Third-Party Risk TPRM ) stakeholder landscape
- To report on trend analysis, allowing line of business and independent organisation wide operational risk management to assess and manage third-party operational risk exposures, universal line of business risk issues, and other corporate risk issues
Duties
- Network and participate in specialist risk forums where required
- Implement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards; policy; and compliance and governance requirements in area of accountability
- Ensure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey map
- Research, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement
- Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy
Requisites
- Relevant Commercial or Law Degree, a post graduate degree in Commerce or Law as an added advantage.
3- 5 years in a similar environment of which 1-2 years ideally at a middle management level
