Pupkewitz MegaBuild is recruiting a Trainee Branch Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.

Duties
  • Manage all operational functions including Sales, Marketing, Administration and Industrial Relations of the branch
  • Manage stock levels, shrinkage and all other expenses to acceptable standard. Drive initiatives to increase the branch’s Market Share
  • Train and develop staff to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Uphold the Pupkewitz mission of Customer Satisfaction Through Service Excellence. Act as Mentor to staff members, through motivating and guiding staff to reach their full potential
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain company policies and procedures throughout all operational activities
Requisites
  • Namibian Citizen
  • Grade 12
  • Computer literate
  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree (NQF Level 7) will be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years’ Management experience in the Building, Retail or FMCG industry
  • Excellent written and spoken English – Native language will be an added advantage
  • Must have a valid Code B Driver’s License
  • Must be willing to travel extensively
  • Kerridge system experience will be a great advantage
  • A strong leader and team builder with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • An enthusiastic, business driven individual with a “hands-on” attitude
  • Financial understanding
  • Strong administration skills
  • Someone who can effectively plan and prioritize
