Old Mutual is recruiting a Trainee Broker Consultant, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Develops and implements a sales, marketing and support plan for brokers
- Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with all contracted brokers in designated portfolio
- Analyzing the sales product mix in order to react to trends, and ensure profitable growth of the portfolio
- Managing the relationship between Old Mutual and brokers, and ensures maximum growth of the portfolio
- Researching market trends and developing relevant strategies to ensure sustainable growth
- Supporting and advising on all Old mutual product-related aspects to Brokers
- Ensures that Old Mutual and product providers understand Broker's product and marketing needs
- Meets all annual new business targets of the Old Mutual Broker Distribution business
- Receiving requests for quotations from Brokers and formulates alterations to existing business
- Marketing Old Mutual services and products to Brokers
- Developing and sourcing new business with brokers
- Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results
Requisites
- Namibian Citizenship
- A Valid Driver’s License
- A minimum qualification of grade 12
- A diploma or degree (NQF level 7) in marketing; sales; finance
- The successful candidate will be required to travel
- Excellent client care orientation and communication skills
- Ability to listen and integrate information
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literacy
- Fluent in English
- Proven sales or third party sales record will be an advantage
