Agra is recruiting a Truck Driver, in Otavi, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbent will be based in Otavi and report to the Administrator: Goods Ordering
Duties
- Making stock deliveries
- Ensures that the correct quantities and products are loaded and delivered
- Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle
- Collects items from various places
- Obey company’s vehicle policy rules and regulations and Namibian -Roads Authority laws
- Takes reasonable responsibility for all products on vehicle (e.g. avoid damages)
- To report any irregularities or damages to the supervisor
- Ensures that customers sign invoices for goods received (Ensures correct quantity and product deliveries as per customer invoice or delivery note)
- Ensures correct loading weight and safe guarding of load
- Must be an ambassador for Agra
- Follows Agra’s health and safety standards
Requisites
- Qualifications & Attributes:
- Namibian citizenship
- A Grade 12 certificate
- Must be in possession of a relevant and valid driver’s license (Code CE)
- Must be in possession of a recent police clearance certificate
- Proficiency in English
- Able to read a basic road map/ familiarity with applicable area
