Mediclinic is recruiting an Unit Manager: Paediatrics Unit (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Requisites
- 3 or 4-year Diploma or 4 year Degree in Nursing; Postgraduate qualification in the unit’s specialist area (if relevant)
- Desired Education: Nursing education qualification or Nursing management qualification
- At least 5 years professional nursing experience in a hospital
- 2-3 years leadership experience in a hospital
- Desired E xperience: Infection Prevention and Control; Clinical Facilitation

- Auditing and accreditation processes
- Clinical risk management
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Continuous improvement and quality assurance methodologies
- Financial management
- Healthcare industry
- Human resource processes including employee relations
- Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols
- Management of staff productivity
- Nursing functional knowledge
- Patient complaint management
- Relevant nursing legislation
