Sanlam is recruiting a Vesting Specialist: Affluent Market (m/f), to be based in Oshakati, Namibia.
Description
  • This role will report to the Agency Manager and is tasked to undertake the ongoing focused sourcing, recruitment and selection of new suitably profiled advisers aligned to business and manpower needs, as well as the coaching, vesting, developing and performance managing newly recruited advisors for the first 24 months of their careers ensuring they are retained, viable and productive as quickly as possible. The remuneration of the Vesting Specialist could vary depending on area and size of responsibility. The Agency Manager will have the right to set production and advisor targets and determine additional duties. The recruitment and selection process will be done in coordination with the Recruitment and Coaching Specialist
Duties
  • Coordination with the Recruitment and Coaching Specialist, focused recruitment of advisers aligned to business needs per formal target determined by Agency Manager
  • Coordination with the Recruitment and Coaching Specialist, effective screening of advisers via job assessment
  • Manage activities, productivity and general performance of appointed advisers
  • Ensure that advisors formal and on-the-job training gets done to standards, in particular, but not exclusively, implementing the vesting training manual in the most in the most practical and measurable manner
  • Focused coaching and vesting of appointed advisors
Requisites
  • HR Diploma, Degree, HED or commercial/marketing qualifications will be an added advantage
  • Experience in financial services preferably sales or sales management
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the Life insurance industry and excellent marketing, sales and/or financial management skills
