Description
To operate and maintain the water supply scheme according to procedures and regulated schedules and supply water of good quality to all clients in a sustainable manner. This position is based in Otjiwarongo but the successful candidate will be requiered to travel out of town on daily basis to perform his/her duties
Duties
- Operate/control Pumps and supply of water
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning functions
- Performs administrative duties
- Water quality control
- Fleet control
- Ad hoc
Requisites
- Grade 10
- Certificate in Water Works Course (level 2)
- 3 years applicable experience
- Code B Driver’s License
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Interpersonal skill
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently
